Peter Laird, Kevin Eastman, and the entire crew did a spectacular job on making this documentary about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It gives the viewers an insight of how they were created and what fans didn't know about the Turtles. If you haven't seen this documentary yet, check it out sometime. I'm a huge fan of the Turtles and loved this documentary. If you're not a huge fan you'll still enjoy it anyway. See more 04/18/2022 A bit of an underwhelming documentary to be honest. It's nice seeing how what started as a parody of Frank Miller comics became a cultural phenomenon and the people interviewed do go into a ton of detail on the comics, 1987 cartoon, merchandising and 1990 film but it's upsetting that the Definitive History didn't bring up the Ninja Turtles' other adventures post-1990 and never kept my attention as much as other nerd-friendly documentaries seemed to. At least it wasn't a glorified commercial for the Michael Bay-produced reboot film despite the timing. Still bummed we didn't get a third film with those mini-Hulks.
