Audience Member Richard Chamberlain was at his peak of when he was cast as an attorney ho seeks to get a client off of a murder charge. The plot pushed the envelope of what was acceptable in movies. Nick Adams as the would be killer as quite good in his Oscar nominated Supporting Actor role. Too bad the part is undercooked. Unfortunately, the film feels like a rip off of the much better "Anatomy of a Murder" with James Stewart. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review steve d The performances help but not enough.
