Kazall R I can see why The Avengers never got another CG movie, Ultimate Avengers is too violet for little kids & too cheesy for adults, this movie feels like a poor-mans Michael Bay movie but more dry & forgettable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review andrius y una pelicula simple con una animacion sencilla ni mas ni menos Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/27/23 Full Review Chris M I know this is based on the Ultimate universe of comics but what I heard of that line of comics, this is fateful to it. Which is not a good thing, it's not horrible. But the retcons on Hulk and Antman and Thor was not good to me. Two great things came from the Ultimate universe, Sam Jackson Nick Fury and Miles Morales Spider-Man. But the action works and for the most part it's a cool movie. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/16/22 Full Review Audience Member Ultimate Avengers is mostly just okay. I hear the comic was worse but a majority of people tend to watch adaptations first when it comes to superheroes so this is not the place to make comparisons. But, on its own merits, Ultimate Avengers: The Movie was just okay. The animation, voice acting, fight scenes were all just okay. There's nothing worth disliking but there isn't anything worth gushing about either. I do respect it for the influence it had on the MCU going forward and it isn't hard to see that the Avengers movie that came out 6 years later takes some of its cues from this film. But overall, this opening entry to the Marvel Animated Features is nothing to write home about and, while still not a terrible waste of time, ultimately fails to offer any competition against DC when it comes to the direct-to-DVD animated department. At least Planet Hulk, the 2007 Doctor Strange film and one half of Hulk Vs. were good.
