"Uncorked" pours an old, old wine into an unexpected new bottle, and while the results are hardly vintage, it still goes down better than two-buck chuck. Go to Full Review

Captures an energy that's far too common in modern culture in regards to what we pursue, why we pursue it, and the way we dream. We all should be paying attention. Go to Full Review

The film isn't without its flaws, but they're all forgivable in light of how well it hits the feel-good bullseye. Go to Full Review

You may have thought this was your run of the mill Springtime comfort movie primarily for black audiences. You couldn’t be farther from the truth. Go to Full Review

“Uncorked” as enjoyable as a plate of Louis’ scrumptious ribs. Okay, maybe not that good, but you get what I’m saying. Go to Full Review

I've got a very soft spot for well-made movies where adults just figure things out without a lot of pomp and circumstance. I love movies that just embrace life for what it is and keep a positive spin on everyday goals. I loved this one. Go to Full Review

Todd B Nov 29 It is a simple, refreshing story that is universal in many ways regardless of nationality, wealth, or identity. The family dynamic was something everyone can relate to. The movie projects the conflict between ambition and obligation, love and purpose. I wish there were more movies like this. See more Kathy V Aug 19 Uncorked tells the story of a young man caught between his dream of becoming a master sommelier and his father’s hope he’ll take over the family barbecue business. The internal struggle feels real and relatable, something many of us can identify with in our own lives. This heartfelt story explores the complexities of a father-son relationship seen through different lenses. Plus, it offers a fascinating glimpse into the challenging journey of mastering the art of wine, which made me want to try new varieties myself. With great acting, this movie will inspire you to follow your dreams no matter how difficult the path may be. I’d definitely recommend it. See more 09/22/2024 Soundtrack, plot, script and acting were all very enjoyable See more Alissa R 10/03/2023 This movie had promise, but felt a bit choppy and unfinished, both in editing style and story. Like how they brought up the family tension with the sister but then did nothing with it. Or whether or not the girlfriend pursues nursing instead of just a receptionist. Or the fact that I literally just watched the movie and cannot remember either of their names. The movie rushes ahead at some points with dramatic jumps with no corresponding story, but then creates slow pockets of "atmospheric" cinematography and music breaks that I started fast-forwarding through. It creates a build-up where you want things to succeed, but then resolves nothing. Even the father-son relationship, which seemed to be improving, seems to regress at the very end. Promising, kinda likeable, but ultimately disappointing. See more Dane B. M 04/05/2023 I'm not a wine drinker and I loved it. There's a quiet humor here that transcends every scene. Quite unique and pleasantly amusing. Open a bottle and watch it. See more Read all reviews
