Rachel Wagner Rachel's Reviews (YouTube) This movie felt really cheap even for Disney Channel Nov 14, 2021 Full Review Joly Herman Common Sense Media Entertaining, a little spooky, and goofy enough to make it fun, this remake of a 1997 movie has seen some upgrades. Rated: 4/5 Oct 14, 2021 Full Review Sarah Musnicky Nightmarish Conjurings It's a lot sillier and missing the emotional depth of the original, but the UNDER WRAPS remake is still a fun time, especially for the younger kids. Shane K My mom hates the remake. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review Joel H I didn't really watch the original Under Wraps when it came out in the 90s, but having watched both the 1997 version and the 2021 version in the last couple weeks, I think the original is better. This remake doesn't really bring anything new to the table, and I don't think the child actors are as good. In fact, one of them seemed to be doing a quasi-Steve Urkel impersonation which was more irritating than entertaining. Little kids would probably like this, since it's a non-scary Halloween movie, but if my family and I are going to watch a silly mummy movie, we'll watch the original Under Wraps. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review Kevin M Woke crap. Disney has to force woke brainwashing in and ruin every story. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/09/23 Full Review christopher c. m Remake of a classic 90s DCOM. The mummy costume is pretty good, cool without being scary. Even though there was no need to remake it, the original was pretty good. I like the new version too. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The original movie was really good remember wanting to watch it as a kid. I really wanted to give this movie a try. I started watching it and it was real bad i couldnt bring myself to keep watching it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Under Wraps (F-) This is a very bad tv movie. I know it was Disney channel but sometimes those movies have their charm and can be mildly entertaining... This show was really bad and had such an annoying cast. The plot was so predictable and the way that actions influence the world was really undllistic. I mean I know it is a Disney channel movie but seriously no one being awe struck by a freaking mummy was so dumb. Also why is the mummy acting like a monkey throughout. This show had so many humiliatingly awful moments. It wasn't even bad to the level where it is fun to make fun of it was just not good. Had to skip through parts as it was that painful to watch. But wanted to watch so I could accurately give whoever is reading this an honest enough review. This is my review, steer clear. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
