Derek R @Decca Apr 27 Only just watched this film. Rise of The Footsoldiers. Part Villain. Pat fresh out the nick, without his mates, Tony & Craig who had a little accident down a country lane. Pat shows his more creative side, painting, decorating & carpentry. Paying particular attention to sledge hammers. Pat also displays his child care skill. Very impressive. Pat's brother though, is a wrong 'un, wasting Pat's dough on charlie. Pat soon sorts things out though, and prepares us all for Rise of The Footsoldiers Part Villain 2. Fackin' cant. Izuka Hoyle, though she had a small part, was excellent. It's worth your time. See more Kalin H @Katsko Jan 7 Grossly cliched in any way possible starting from the predictable plot, stereotypical characters and slow grinding action. You keep watching wanting for something to happen that would capture your attention but it doesn’t. The sicario style ending is beyond ridiculous for a crime drama that hasn’t got anything going for it apart from the claimed "realism" … which it also doesn’t possess. Good to watch if you are in a dark place so that you see there is worse. And by that I mean everyone involved with this waste of time not the obviously ridiculous characters. Good for a past time but you’d just might find more sense and surely entertainment in let’s say a Transformer flick. Craig Fairbrass delivers exactly what is required and it's nice to see Robert Glenister on the screen (his brother Philip is all over UK TV at the moment).
