Audience Member One of my favourite 80's comedies. If you're a fan of Airplane or The Naked Gun it will be up your ally. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member It pains me to admit it but my brother and I used to love this movie as kids; I dread to think how many times we must've watched a crappy VHS copy taped off the TV. Featuring likes of Joe Don Baker, George Kennedy, Charles Napier and Stella Stevens, you find yourself wondering how the producers of this puerile horror spoof managed to assemble a better-than-adequate cast, but you have to remember that this was the era of Airplane and there was money to be made in puerile spoofs. Unfortunately for all concerned, they had to be good though, and while Wacko occasionally hits the mark with a decent gag, more often than not it misses. Joe Don Baker is funny as a slobbish police detective obsessively hunting the so-called Lawnmower Killer who terrorised a prom night thirteen years before, but his character becomes secondary as the story progresses and the film sags in the latter half as a result. Fans of National Lampoon's Class Reunion (assuming there are any) might want to check it out but anybody else can live without this. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Love this parody of the horror genre. The Flying High of horror movies. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member A spoof is suppose to be funny like Scary Movie,Shriek,or maybe even Student Bodies, but this movie was just idiotic. Whoever made this must have been in a mental institution. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my all time favs. Must have watched it 50 times in the 80. Hoping that one day it will be released on DVD. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member A guy with a pumpkin head uses a lawnmower to kill his victims. Based on the true life events in the town of Kutchenville, Kentucky and the investigative novel by B. Seymour Wanka. This is an often misunderstood film, which is actually a pretty spot on biopic of the infamous Lawnmower Killer of Kutchenville. I know a guy who wrote his Master's thesis on this film. Truly inspiring work here. 5 stars! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
