Audience Member Good story, but poorly directed. Really difficult to follow Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Quite a mix. Well cast. Strong in many ways, but the love story was a little underdeveloped, and the unsolvable problem of privilege, although answered better than might be expected, isn't wrapped up in the satisfactory way a movie might. That wouldn't be so bad, if only it wasn't so dark and hopeless. A director with potential. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This started off so good and then descended into chaos. It seemed like it was going to be an interesting social commentary and then it just tried to be a thriller. But the thriller had huge logic holes in it. Could have ended this so much better. Shame bec the acting was good and the camera work slick Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member It was good. I felt something powerfully moving about it, despite my rating. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Where are the adults in this film, the police, any sense that half of what happens could actually take place. It's as if all of these kids live in the world of Charlie Browne where adults happen not to exist. The flashbacks and fantasy editing just serve to make it annoyingly difficult to figure out what's going on sometimes, which I like when figuring out what's going on is worth it. Not so in this case. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member great movie, loved the music too Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Jim Schembri The Age (Australia) The icy, stone-faced performances from an obviously committed young cast don't help matters. Rated: 1/5 Mar 5, 2011 Full Review David Stratton At the Movies (Australia) It's very, very strikingly done. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 3, 2011 Full Review Glenn Dunks Onya Magazine Wasted on the Young's pulsating soundtrack, immediate direction by first time filmmaker Lucas ... and Leanne Cole's hectic editing all lend the film a vibrancy that is sorely lacking in a lot of cinema these days. Rated: B- Oct 17, 2013 Full Review Luke Buckmaster The Daily Review/Crikey A scorching ultra modern morality fable that uses school grounds, party houses and internet connections as stomping grounds for social allegory. Nov 21, 2011 Full Review NOW Toronto Rated: 2/5 Apr 4, 2011 Full Review Marc Fennell Triple J Visually impressive, but the script needed a big angry red pen taken to it. Oh, and does every character need to shuffle around like they're in a My Chemical Romance video clip? Rated: 2/5 Mar 7, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews
