With the wedding of her younger sister (Amy Adams) fast approaching, Kat Ellis (Debra Messing) faces the undesirable prospect of traveling alone to London for the ceremony. While this is bad enough, Jeffrey (Jeremy Sheffield), the man who left her as they moved closer to marriage, happens to be the groom's best man. Emily N This movie was so close to being a great one. It just kinda lost me somewhere in the middle, there was no build up to the characters falling in love it just kinda happened at the end. I didn’t know why we should feel connected to the ex and I wanted to hear more about the quirky best friend, that could've made the movie somewhat funny but it failed. I feel as though they should’ve left more time to develop a better relationship between characters and story to draw the viewer in, but rather it kinda seems like it all got thrown together and pushed at your face like we should understand somehow. The premise was nice and would’ve made for a great movie, however it’s just missing a few more key details. Overall I think it just needs some better writing and better character development till then I won’t be watching this again. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/18/24 Full Review Jan G Surprisingly entertaining while being both funny and serious. Not your typical Rom Com. Also love the cast. Re-watched many times Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/24 Full Review Lory J For a romcom, this movie is missing character chemistry, a clever script, engaging acting, and after giving it a 30-minute chance, I had to turn off this predictable sludge. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Jake E Wasn't bad. I enjoyed the movie and I'm very picky with storytelling. I see some of these other reviews and they aren't as fair. I give it 3.8/5 (anything over 3.5 is worth watching) if you are into love stories. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/28/23 Full Review Justin S I am furious at what I just sat through. This might actually be the single worst film I've experienced. Nothing made sense, it's corny and predictable. I am so angry that I will get 0 retribution for having been put through 90 minutes of absolute torture. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/23 Full Review Deanna O If you want a movie that in my opinion doesn't quite live up to the wedding singer, then give this a shot. It's got some comedy and romance but as I said the wedding singer is in my opinion the better met at wedding romance comedy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 05/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
