Dex Wesley Parra Austin Chronicle The tight script from Wong and Arnold avoids veering into overly sentimental terrain with humorous banter sprinkled throughout. Joseph L Wonderful movie that blends many different genres from rom-com to end of world thriller. The leads have interesting stories, and the writers unravel that beautifully throughout the movie from beginning to end. They have great chemistry. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/10/25 Full Review Ron Super funny and also heartfelt drama. Ashly Burch was phenomenal! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Ashim A Love it! Go support indie movies and watch in theaters! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/14/25 Full Review Chris C We’re all gonna die does what the best low-budget films do: make it about the characters. It’s a funny, sad film about finding little bits of joy when you keep living after the apocalypse. It’s heartfelt without being stereotypical, and humorous without being hammy. And it has a deep darkness pervasive throughout. If you like emotional, thoughtful sci-fi that’s more wit than action, it comes highly recommended. Oh, and for what it’s worth it never really comes across as low-budget. All the actors are solid and the effects are surprisingly good. It just that it involves a lot of deserts, scrublands, old cars, diners, and other low cost locations. If you told me this was a 30 Million dollar A24 release, I’d believe you. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/09/25 Full Review Madison B Made me laugh the entire time, just to bawl my eyes out, and then laugh right after. It hit me personally. I love it so much. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/09/25 Full Review Audience Member One of the most heartfelt movies I have seen in a long time. I found it to be a very poignant and consistently smart exploration of grief, purpose and new bonds. So many little moments in this movie created bursts of genuine emotion. It’s hard to get that in a lot of movies nowadays. The plot is set up well to keep an interesting timer on our main characters without getting in the way of what really matters in the story, which is their relationship and character moments. If you’re looking for a more plot driven movie, you might find this a little bit boring, but I really loved it. Freddie Wong and crew are real talents. And the main two actors really blow it out of the park with realistic, sardonic, awkward dialogue and incredibly raw acting when the time comes for it.
