Anon A Dec 27 This was a great movie about the limits of that oh-so-perfect friendship you think you have. Yes this centers on 2 teenagers, but could easily have been about 2 adults -- the dynamics are the same. I fast forwarded through most of the first half hour, because I have no interest in seeing how a teenage friendship develops -- they're close, I get it, already. After that, there is no murder mystery... i don't know why people are saying there is a mystery. The death is shown right on screen. The only mystery is how these 2 friends will deal with it. It's heartbreaking and... perhaps inevitable. It's also a tragically true commentary on how women and girls are supposed to clean up the messes that men/boys, make. The acting was great madelyn cline did a great job at acting the story was good but it was so slow paced and boring at some times in the movie. The murder mystery story doesn't even start until the 45 mintute mark. The cast did an amazing job and the storyline of what it was like to grow up during the late 90’s-early 2000’s was spot on. Not only was I hooked from start to finish, but it also brought back great memories of my teenage days. I highly recommend watching this movie!! It’s one of my all time favorites!
