Beneath the absurdity and non-sequiturs there's an emotional weight to the elliptical back story, and the monkey's wonderfully expressive face -- guilty, agitated, rueful -- suits the piece perfectly.

This is for members of the cult of Lynch. Now I will admit that am a fan of some of his library and think he was a cool dude. However, some of his stuff goes way beyond pretentious and is praised solely because he did it. This was lame. Different? For sure, but that in itself is not good.
