Audience Member It's about you, it's about me, and anyone "forced into a habitat that is less favorable" (which includes every human being on earth). It's about evolution as it is happening, at the personal level, in our civilization. It's the story of what mankind does to its individuals, and what it means to realize that "this is who I am." The movie cleverly exposes the partial nature of our perception of ourselves and of the group that (we think) we belong to, from the other's point of view - a perception that is as hypocritical as William's father. The movie is enlightening, ingenious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member " I feel like I have been forced into a less-advantageous habitat by your superior numbers" - This line sums it up for me. Great watch, if you feel out of place with people, you can relate strongly with the movie. I did. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member The subject was a gigantic undertaking - and it didn't quite do what it set out to do. But an interesting premise - and Will Britain did well... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's based on a great theme. This movie could've been a masterpiece but it lacks the depth of the story and failure of development. Although the main cast did a superb job, some of the extras were horrible. The cinematography and opening score was pretty good. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Callum was great tho Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a very sensitive film about coming of age blended with a contemplative look into where we came from. Underappreciated most likely due to its subtlety setting it apart from most movies made today. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) The question is interesting -- the way [this film] looks at it is not. Sep 27, 2019 Full Review Bill Goodykoontz Arizona Republic The intentions here are noble, but the execution is too obvious and strained to make much of a lasting impact. Rated: 2.5/5 Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times In Disney's hands, "William" eschews freak show theatrics for something much weightier. Apr 12, 2019 Full Review MaryAnn Johanson Flick Filosopher Plays with its let's-clone-a-Neanderthal plot like it has no idea of the horrors involved and no appreciation of the ethical questions it raises. (Paging Ian Malcolm!) A tremendous missed opportunity. Rated: 2/5 Apr 25, 2019 Full Review Lisa Johnson Mandell AtHomeInHollywood.com A surprisingly gentle yet provocative sci-fi drama about the evolution of a fish out of water. Apr 23, 2019 Full Review Nick Rocco Scalia Film Threat William quite admirably stands out like a sore thumb - or, more appropriately, like an unusually large, sloping forehead.
