It's about you, it's about me, and anyone "forced into a habitat that is less favorable" (which includes every human being on earth). It's about evolution as it is happening, at the personal level, in our civilization. It's the story of what mankind does to its individuals, and what it means to realize that "this is who I am." The movie cleverly exposes the partial nature of our perception of ourselves and of the group that (we think) we belong to, from the other's point of view - a perception that is as hypocritical as William's father. The movie is enlightening, ingenious.

" I feel like I have been forced into a less-advantageous habitat by your superior numbers" - This line sums it up for me. Great watch, if you feel out of place with people, you can relate strongly with the movie. I did.

It's based on a great theme. This movie could've been a masterpiece but it lacks the depth of the story and failure of development. Although the main cast did a superb job, some of the extras were horrible. The cinematography and opening score was pretty good.

This is a very sensitive film about coming of age blended with a contemplative look into where we came from. Underappreciated most likely due to its subtlety setting it apart from most movies made today.
