Critics Consensus

Wine Country's comedy might not be quite as robust as fans of this ensemble will expect, but it's got sweetness on the nose and a nicely balanced finish.

In Wine Country, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer, Paula Pell, and Emily Spivey all seem to be having a blast, but the resultant movie is unfunny and forgettable. Go to Full Review

All in all, it's a drinkable, if at times indulgent, affair. Go to Full Review

If Wine Country was meant to help women find humour amid the humdrum of their lives, it misses the mark spectacularly. Go to Full Review

It’s fun just to see all these SNL greats back together again. That alone makes the movie worth watching. Go to Full Review

Wine Country is a decent look at female friendship but it has a lot of flaws. Go to Full Review

VITALII H @freakynickison Nov 2 When I saw that the cast for this movie is basically SNL cast I knew that it was about to be funny but at the same time I feared that the humor and jokes were gonna be cringe, maybe even dated…. It felt that way at the beginning of the movie until the tarot reading. I cried my eyes out and had a genuine laughter. A group of friends went to Napa Valley for a little vacation for birthday celebration of one of the friends who turns 50. If you just wanna watch something easy, silly and funny without a brain strain then you’ll enjoy it. See more Justin H. @MrHenry18 Sep 22 Extremely boring. Was excited because of the line up of ladies. Otherwise, hated it. See more thiago s @Thiagostone Jun 24 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Jun 16 One of the most boring movies I saw since a long Time. If it would be a wine it would be a two-buck chuck, only available in a carton See more Kevin M May 23 Cast of legendary women who have all made me die laughing in a variety of projects, but not this one. Gave it two stars because my wife was enjoying it until she fell asleep. See more Miniver S May 5 This is my ultimate comfort movie. If it's not for you; you don't get it, and that's okay! There's a lot of nuance that I think gets missed; women, friendship, life stages... the quirks of each character are charming. Emily Spivey is a nice surprise, and delivers a hilarious performance. I love this movie, perfect for a chill night with a glass of wine. See more Read all reviews
