martin a This is a very interesting film, which is shot on location in the fantastic Art Deco hotel that is now apartments! The story starts as a man tries to get to see a famous writer who has stolen his book he ends up killing him and dies at the same time with an accident. Then they both end up in a hotel where all famous dead people go, and as their fame fades they go to smaller rooms until they go completely. It is a wonderful story and would have made a great horror film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Well, this one was unexpected. Had no idea what it was going to be about and was pleasantly surprised. Totally could have been directed by David Lynch. Weird, bizarre, and awesome. Can't believe it is only available on VHS in the US. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member I LOVED this movie when I saw it at the Seattle International Film Festival and have been trying to find a way to rent it ever since. The imagery, story and subtle humor has stuck with me for almost 20 years. I need to find a way to rent it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
