Gerard N Too true crime docudrama. But WIKI tells the back-story of Scott McAlister, legal counsel for Oregon's Corrections Department, who was selling paroles among other things. WITHOUT EVIDENCE gives the bare bones of the Mike Francke assassination fleshed out at WIKI. McAlister was later convicted of possession of child pornography after screening it with work associates. Probably Mike Francke was one such person as Francke fled a weekend ski trip with Scott McAlister after only one day. Scott McAlister & Fiends planned a fake suicide for Mike Francke using his own gun from the glove box of his car. Mike was to be shot in the head from the back seat. But the "Jockey Boxer" didn't show and Tim "Rooster" Natividad, the man in the pinstriped suit playing a copy repair man, stabbed Francke in the heart with a Bowie knife under the watchful eye of law enforcement. Frank Gable, framed by tweaker Jodie Swearingen, brilliantly played by Angelina Jolie, served thirty years and Gable sued Oregon for wrongful imprisonment as Jodie had recanted. + Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/26/24 Full Review Falcon G This movie is about my family. It really just scratches the surface about the truth, and just recently in the salem oregon statesman journal is an update about the released after 30 years, man who was framed for the murder, frank gable, and his lawsuit againts state officials and their corruption, also a no.1 ranked true crime podcast nationally, that dives deep into detail and the theories surrounding this case! Also the producer and casting directors had good intuition on casting fresh actors that would become big names in Hollywood someday. Scott Planck sadly died of an accident, while he was climbing the ranks of Hollywood destined for stardom. But Angelina Jolie and Anna Gunn! It's a must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/20/24 Full Review Margie M It sucked! No epilogue to say why Kevin was pulled over and what happened...stupid. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/20/23 Full Review Audience Member This is a high quality film. Much higher than a TV film The acting is tops! The Oregon cops and prosecutors ring true. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A big bag of bull-crap. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a pure crime drama based on a true story. If you are a fan of this genre you will like this movie.. And it's got another psychic role by Angelina Jolie. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
