This combined adaptation of serial Bradley Murdoch and Ivan Milat's crimes is often difficult to watch, but McLean's direction and understanding of horror is on full display. Jarratt has crafted an iconic villain for the ages.

Pathetic. They couldn't even be bothered to travel to Broome, instead they filmed the opening scenes on the east coast of Australia. Garbage acting, terrible story, I've seen better dog faeces.

Ah, yes. Wolf Creek. Absolutely love the title. Great horror movie in general that's set in Australia if you didn't already figure that out. Worth a watch for sure. Don't bother with second one.

This film was so ridiculous it’s not even funny. Just who came up with this plot line? They could have killed this psycho so many times, but no, they had to keep dragging it on!

This is yet another one of those eternally frustrating slasher movies where the characters are clearly too stupid to have the necessary survival instincts needed to get themselves out of their dire situation. If a character or characters fail(s) to seize the opportunity to sufficiently kill the antagonist(s) when they have ample time and position to do so, then as far as I’m concerned if they get captured, tortured, raped, killed, etc. after that, it’s squarely on them and their dumb decisions. Yes… this is one of those movies. As popular and highly-regarded as Wolf Creek is in the slasher genre, it sure is annoying in this regard.
