Brad Wheeler Globe and Mail A combination of state-of-the-art cinematography and old-fashioned documentary storytelling, this gorgeous film is 3D visually, but frustratingly two-dimensional otherwise. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Bruce DeMara Toronto Star A film that displays the beauty and complexity of the world beneath the waves while issuing an urgent clarion call for action. Rated: 3/4 Jan 31, 2019 Full Review Radheyan Simonpillai NOW Toronto ...there's no denying that what the film gently says does matter. Rated: 3/5 Jan 30, 2019 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Aimed at kids whose imaginations may be sparked by the unusual watery beasts on display. The narration, courtesy of the Cousteau family and Schwarzenegger, is simple and direct, often with the feel of an educational classroom film. Rated: 3.5 Jan 31, 2021 Full Review Alex Saveliev Film Threat It may move at a glacial pace, and its presentation may not be anything new, but Wonders of the Deep offers a chance to take a minute (or 80) and meditate upon our treatment of the oceans that harbors us. Rated: 6/10 Jun 12, 2019 Full Review Renee Schonfeld Common Sense Media Docu beautifully highlights delicate balance of our oceans. Rated: 4/5 Jun 4, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Such a beautiful film! I had no idea there were creatures like that in the ocean. The images are crystal clear, really stunning and very colorful. It's different from any other nature films I've seen, it's almost like an experience, especially with the 3D. Why can't we see more of these in theatres? I want to see it again, and bring my sons! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member I had never dive before, but thanks to the amazing 3D, I was feeling like I was cruising underwater along beautiful creatures that I never suspected existed ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A spectacular visual treat, Wonders of the Sea 3D is mesmerizing in the way it unveils one fascinating explosion of color after another. It uses state of the art cinematographic techniques to makes us aware of the abundance of life below the surface of the ocean and our dependence on it for our own survival.
