The X-Men comic books have spawned a cottage industry of mutant characters, and the movie helps make sense of these legions while offering the established fan base something new to cheer. Go to Full Review

Exciting mainly because anything can happen and does, the movie drags a bit as it approaches a climax set on top of the Statue of Liberty. But once there it revives. Go to Full Review

This is a film that should satisfy fans of the hugely popular comic book and audiences who can't tell one uncanny X-Man from another. Mutants rule. Go to Full Review

It's impressive how much good casting can elevate an otherwise silly concept. Similarly, it's surprising how much more satisfying 104-minute movie can be, as it's not trying to break the storytelling mold. Go to Full Review

Zachary Jacob S 6h Definitely a bit dated. And seemingly ashamed of embracing the colorful origins of the X-Men. X-Men still manages to be a pretty good time! More importantly, this is the movie that made some of the most historic and PERFECT casting decisions. Setting the stage for a future with exciting possibilities. See more Lucas S 2d While some of the dialogue feels phoned in, even for the 2000's, and the CGI looks clunky in some places, X-Men stays true to the comics in almost every way, and is definitely a good way to spend two hours when you are craving an action movie. See more SnEaKy @basaro_o 2d Great movie and a solid entry into the X-Men franchise. I liked the characters, villain, story, and much more. Not much to complain about. See more Jackson N @Jackyoboy Jan 11 It’s a classic. Has its quirks, moderate CGI, Storm’s joke (if ykyk). My review is not going to give this movie as much justice as it deserves because it didn’t resonate with me this watch, mainly because I had to pause and finish it the next day. All in all, it is still a nice classic. Oh and I want the comic accurate suits. See more Brady R @BRICE24 Jan 7 Better when I was a kid. Too many plot holes See more Pedro Henrique C @Pedro2005 Jan 1 X-Men (2000) This movie is spectacular, it's very dynamic and fast-paced. The cast has a unique charisma; it's great to watch this movie multiple times and still enjoy it immensely. See more Read all reviews
