Aspiring director Eddie (David Packer) moves from the Midwest to Los Angeles, where he rooms with his cousin (Scott McGinnis) and attempts to establish himself in advertising -- but he doesn't have much luck. Seeking something worthwhile, Eddie decides to shift his focus to looking for love through a video dating service. He goes through one bad date after another, but the only thing he finds interesting about the service is Peggy Kellogg (Bridget Fonda), one of the employees.

Melissa M Feb 18 In spite of the fact the film has David Packer, David Leisure, Bridget Fonda, and Anthony Geary. It's just your typical rom com. The storyline has been done a thousand times before. Sometimes the movie is very cliche. Don't get me wrong it's fun to watch at times. There are even moments when it's pretty funny. like when Eddie goes to the dating service multiple times and comes up with a new personality every time. Or even the time that Eddie gets arrested. Other than that it's your typical male fantasy comedy. Don't get me wrong I love a raunchy movie just as much as the next person. But the storyline is not that original. But as far as Rom com's go it's not bad. See more deke p 02/02/2022 It was 'ok', for1988, seems now so long ago. Still love that Bridget (despite the Fonda). And the great late CHARLES GRODIN. And DAVID LEISURE (JOE ISUZU so long ago). & long tall SALLY KELLERMAN. Never saw this 'rom com b4 now on the telly Febr 1, 2022.
