In ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman's (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

Let's not forget that the Snyder Cut was in part willed into being by a toxic social media campaign, mob rule begetting a mystical monocultural object that is finally much bigger than its ostensible creator. Go to Full Review

The Syndercut is essentially an extended version of JL with new footage that tied up loose ends, cut out all the cheesy and sexiest JOSStice scenes, improved the horrific CGI, and primarily made all of our beloved heroes much more captivating and GODLIKE! Go to Full Review

Brendan K @Bkeller25 5d The Synder Cut of Justice League is one of the greatest superhero movies ever made, and Snyder's magnum opus. I was surprised by the amount of emotional moments it had and the film has an extremely satisfying finale. I had chills all over my body, almost like an Avengers Endgame feeling. It is very long, but it moves at a brisk pace. I've seen 2 hour movies that feel longer. Whedon's cut is entertaining, but it feels like a Sparknotes version of Snyder's. This one fleshes out numerous characters and provides a lot more context. I don't think we'll ever see a film like this again, along with the incredible story of how it exists in the first place. But I ain't going to watch from any new dc movie See more Parsa P @Iampalipz Dec 6 Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a fully realized version of a film that was never allowed to exist in theaters. Restoring its original structure, tone, and character arcs, proves how much was lost in the 2017 release. The expanded runtime gives characters real emotional weight, especially Cyborg and Flash, who finally receive the development their stories needed. The action sequences are cleaner, more purposeful, and supported by a consistent visual identity that ties the entire narrative together. Even Steppenwolf becomes a more compelling antagonist with clearer motives and presence. The film is not without flaws: the pacing is often heavy, the tone consistently somber, and some scenes extend longer than necessary. But as a complete work, it stands as one of the boldest superhero films of its era — ambitious, coherent, and unmistakably the director’s vision. Score: 4.5/5 — A cohesive, fully realized epic that restores both scale and narrative intention. This is Snyder's MASTERPIECE See more Callum H Nov 28 So I got done watching #zachsnydersjusticeleague, and the first thing I have to say is, I have a headache. Make sure you hydrate during this because I forgot. First the good. All the characters are better. All the superhero's have more opportunity to show off the personalities, their powers and have a greater impact on the story. More time is also spent on the villain and his motives, and one particular side character ends up having a much greater roll in the film. Because they spend more time on the characters the story ends up being better as well. With four hours there is plenty of time to tell a decent narrative and they definitely improve on what came before. The fighting also got an improvement, with better choreography, longer fight scenes and better pacing I found the fighting to be a big highlight. And finally if there is one thing Zach Snyder is know for, it's his cinematography, and he shows it off in this. Every shot was masterfully crafted and framed. Overall this is a big improvement over the original versions native, characters and visuals. So, the bad. I didn't like the aspect ratio. I know it was a artistic decision, and they wanted to show the film in a specific way, but it's just not good to look at. I felt like I was watching a cropped, bootlegged version of the film and I really hope they #releasethewidescreencut at some point in the future. The length I found to be an issue, mostly due to some very long and drawn out scenes in the first half as well as some scenes that really weren't needed and could have been left on the cutting room floor. I know this is supposed to be everything Zach wanted, but when a scene has ended and I think "I gained nothing from that and it didn't do anything for the story or characters", then it could have been left out. Also if they got rid of all the long pauses, where someone looks longingly into the middle distance then they could've shaved off 30 minutes alone. But then if they did that you wouldn't see Lois Lane until the two hour mark. A lot of the music was changed in this version and I didn't like most of it. Wonder Woman was definitely done dirty because a lot of the scenes she was in, that used to have her theme playing, instead had what I can only imagine is an opera singer stubbing their toe. Quite a few of the action scenes, mostly in the first half, would have some high octane imagery, with a low octane soundtrack. Maybe it works for some people, but I found the juxtaposition distracting. And finally, and I think I'll get some hate for this, but I found a lot of the dialog in the first film better. Joss Whedon is known for his character interaction, and I'm not just talking about quipping, but things like the janitor giving his condolences to Dr Stone for loosing his son as he leaves work, or the way Bruce provokes Diana about Steve's death and her reaction. Both those scenes, as well as plenty more, are gone. And even though I prefer the overall tone a lot more in this version, it has lost something by removing these smaller moments.
