In ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure Superman's (Henry Cavill) ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) aligns forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher) and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.

The Syndercut is essentially an extended version of JL with new footage that tied up loose ends, cut out all the cheesy and sexiest JOSStice scenes, improved the horrific CGI, and primarily made all of our beloved heroes much more captivating and GODLIKE!

Why this Cut wasn’t originally released in 2 parts is beyond me. Hollywood just seem to want to do the complete opposite of what the fans want. Henry Cavill IS Superman. This movie is everything the new superman wished it was. The biggest mistake they ever made was not making a Man of Steel 2 and giving Afleck his own superman movie.

It's a far cry from a masterpiece of character drama. It should be taken instead as an exercise in structural engineering: a machine built to carry an absurd amount of DC mythology through four hours without collapsing under its own weight. That, more than emotional depth, is the target it actually hits—provided you grant it a very long benefit of the doubt. DC on testosterone, handed to a cameraman.

There is no way this movie is still mediocre despite the long runtime. Every character except for Cyborg is not fleshed out enough. Gal Gadot can not act. It looks so grey. You will check your phone multiple times while watching this

To be COMPLETELY honest, the story benefited from the run time. That being said, idk if it would have translated so well with a two hour time tag. Nonetheless, a good movie, good characters and a good plot. One of my favs in the genre!!!
