Every character is fun and unique and the mystery is genuinely intriguing. It’s really fun to see Stephanie Beatriz in an emotional and fun character after seeing her play Rosa Diaz. I liked The Good Place and that led me to this show. Nothing to take too seriously, just a relaxing show. The first season has a bit deeper connection to make, but overall a fairly light show. If you are not into that vibe, it might not do it for you. The characters make sense within this world, and I found the interactions felt genuine, the narrative was sweet while also truthful to the harshness of some aspects of life. If anything was hand waved, it was how does this type of place exist? Is it hundreds of thousands of dollars a year? That aside, great season of a great show.
