Laurent R On the one hand, the show was very interesting from an emotional perspective-the characters were certainly realistic and worth rooting for. I did, however, find it often to be overly sappy and the central mystery ends up not actually being very relevant or well-developed. Good for a light, fun watch, but not if you want a serious mystery. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/12/25 Full Review Janice T Wow. Absolutely perfectly entertaining, well written, well acted, and, well, directed! Excellent character development, and I actually love all of them. I can’t think of a better show or comedy. It also highlights the lives and workers of independent living and memory care. While in real life it’s not this much fun, it’s very meaningful work for our elderly parents during their final days, who deserve the very best. Can’t wait for seasons 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. This year. Script is pretty mediocre and not clever enough to make us invest in the relations between the characters. Mary and her husband don't seem to do any job cause they're often seen discussing pretty mundane things during daytime and in nighttime as well.
