Joly Herman Common Sense Media As a folksy and colorful baking competition that runs with the small-town tradition of baking for state fairs, this competition sticks to a formula. Aug 26, 2024 Full Review Eddie Mair Sunday Times (UK) Gorgeous creations, but the format feels soggy, not helped by the host, the actor Jason Biggs, who is likeable but superfluous in the first episode. Perhaps when they bake apple pies he will come into his own. Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Liz Kocan Decider Blue Ribbon Baking Championship definitely scratches a baking TV itch, it’s comforting family fun that keeps its focus on positivity rather than cutthroat competition... Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Andy Dehnart Reality Blurred It's a perfectly palatable baking competition, even though there is nothing new here. It's just a mostly well-done version of something we've seen before. Rated: B- Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Joy B Not a fair competition. You can’t have a professional baker and chocolate company owner as competitors on an amateur show. I wonder how they ended up in the finals! Hmmmm. Jason Biggs was a fine host. It was good to see Sandra Lee again, but a bit over the top w her outfits - they were a distraction. I did like the 2 judges. Good credentials and feedback. I do like the great British baking show, and will watch that over this. I had much higher hopes. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review juno j GBBO American style, without the charm, warmth, or and humor of the original. A judge known for using prepackaged mixes in her bakes. The contestants are all likable, and the food is fun, but it is 100% unfair that they allowed a professional baker (with his own shop!) to compete against amateur hobby bakers for a cash prize. 👎 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/25 Full Review D R The show itself is okay. Run of the mill baking competition. Kind of corny jokes. Sandra Lee needs to figure out how to apply makeup that's not from the '70s. And maybe not try to outdress others in the show. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/08/25 Full Review Harry C I could not have liked this show any less. It's literally just the Great British Baking Show with annoying hosts. They are all ridiculously obnoxious. I don't know what made them decide to throw Sandra Lee into this already-hot mess, but I just can't stand her. She brought nothing but negativity to the show. She and Jason (and the other guys) were very unnecessarily condescending to the contestants. Like, they're not stupid, they're adults, so stop treating them like they're four years old. I'm genuinely surprised at how many good reviews this garbage got. I would have given zero stars if it were an option. Rage-watched my way through the first episode but quit after Larry got sent home. Sending the people who made this dumb show a bill for the hour of my life they wasted. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/06/24 Full Review Jamie B I am not finished with the series but I was disappointed that Nathan won a couple of the competitions with out actually baking anything. In a baking competition having a baked element should always be a requirement. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Christine M I really enjoyed the show and the judges!
