Joly Herman Common Sense Media As a folksy and colorful baking competition that runs with the small-town tradition of baking for state fairs, this competition sticks to a formula. Aug 26, 2024 Full Review Eddie Mair Sunday Times (UK) Gorgeous creations, but the format feels soggy, not helped by the host, the actor Jason Biggs, who is likeable but superfluous in the first episode. Perhaps when they bake apple pies he will come into his own. Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Liz Kocan Decider Blue Ribbon Baking Championship definitely scratches a baking TV itch, it’s comforting family fun that keeps its focus on positivity rather than cutthroat competition... Aug 13, 2024 Full Review Andy Dehnart Reality Blurred It's a perfectly palatable baking competition, even though there is nothing new here. It's just a mostly well-done version of something we've seen before. Rated: B- Aug 9, 2024 Full Review Read all reviews

Soulless G I throughly enjoyed the show. I'm not sure why so many people complain about Sandra's outfits. It comes off as bitter. I thought they were fun and fitting for the vibrant theme of the show. The show itself pretty wholesome. Many compare it to the Great British Baking Show, but I feel like it's different enough to where it stands on its own. The contests and judges seemed to geniuly enjoy being on the show. My only real critic would be that the winners of the first challenge each episode recieved an award or "upper hand" in each episode. I hope they continue to make more seasons. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/07/24 Full Review felix d This show is absolutely boring. The host's are not connecting with the audience. Jason is way to over the top jolly. Sara whatever she is, is trying to get back in the light of stardom. Her outfits have the 60s vibe. Everyone is trying to find the next British baking show. There is only one Paul Hollywood and prue. Stop trying. Please cancel this show or retool it. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/24/24 Full Review Richard C I don't think that it's fair that they allowed an individual who bakes and sells bakery goods to participate against those who are home bakers. The indivdual spoke to everyone about his shop and customers during every challenge, and he won the competition. He was a good baker but I feel that he had an unfair advantage and am surprised that it was allowed. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/22/24 Full Review Kathe U I enjoyed this show, all 8 seasons. I felt it was easy to relate to, all the contestants were well portrayed. The judges were terrific. I love to bake, and I enjoy watching the baking shows that feature amateur bakers like myself. I thought the challenges were well crafted for the bakers. My only complaint is the addition of Jason Briggs. He did not add anything of significance to the show, and I felt he detracted from the quality of the show. I kept asking myself why he was added? He brought nothing to the table. I would have given the show a higher rating if it weren't for him. I hope the show is produced again, this time with a more engaging host. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/19/24 Full Review Read all reviews
