Bridgerton follows Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor), the eldest daughter of the powerful Bridgerton family as she makes her debut onto Regency London’s competitive marriage market. Hoping to follow in her parent’s footsteps and find a match sparked by true love, Daphne’s prospects initially seem to be unrivaled. But as her older brother begins to rule out her potential suitors, the high society scandal sheet written by the mysterious Lady Whistledown casts aspersions on Daphne. Enter the highly desirable and rebellious Duke of Hastings (Regé-Jean Page), committed bachelor and the catch of the season for the debutantes’ mamas. Despite proclaiming that they want nothing the other has to offer, their attraction is undeniable and sparks fly as they find themselves engaged in an increasing battle of wits while navigating society’s expectations for their future.

Taking a page out of a fairytale, Bridgerton season four excels at selling a fantasy that, no matter how predictable, is as sweet, steamy, and engrossing as ever.

It once invited indulgence; now it demands endurance. Even the most patient viewer abandons the screen, thumbs flying over their phone as the Regency’s sticky, over-sweetened multiverse plays out behind them. Go to Full Review

It’s baffling that Netflix continues to slice some of its biggest series into two parts... Yet, when everything comes together in the end, it’s clear Part 2 is well worth the wait. Go to Full Review

When it comes to being swept off our feet, even vicariously, we want it old-school. Go to Full Review

Bridgerton continues to creatively thrive in its fourth season,, and while we seem to be moving through the kids, might I suggest a slight deviation to Violet? She’s been exceptional since day one, and this season sets her up perfectly. Go to Full Review

Lisa S @Lisa256 1d This season was truly magical. They weaved an amazing story of fate and the power of love with the scope and the stakes. I also loved the Bridgerton sibling relationships we got to see. We need to keep the sibling dynamic in future seasons because it truly makes the seasons magic. See more gabrielle K @RT77183061 3d Weak and unimaginative script, felt like AI. A criminal lack of attention to Francesca & John in prior series bites in this series; John's death feels trivial. Too many plot weaknesses - even for a period fantasy drama (e.g. Benedict not recognizing Sophie, Sophie not telling the truth about her background, Sophie not thinking to read her fathers will to name but a few). Sophie's actions often didn't align with her smart and independent character. It's a shame as there was some great and underserved actors including those that played Sophie and Francesca. Oh and Sophie's debut dress in the final scene - hideous! See more Ha L @RT97124156 3d Season 4 is the best for me: the chemistry, the development/growth in their characteristic of the two characters, how each transforms the other, how they deal with their own problems. Luke and Yerin are excellent as we can see the subtleties in the acting, the pain, the joy, the aching, etc. at the same time, we can see other characters’ stories as well. Love all of it! See more Rita S @Rita_S 4d This is definitely my favourite season so far. I’m definitely enjoying the Benedict/Sophie story line better than the novel, the emotions and romance is more apparent. That scene when Sophie is looking through the crack in the door with the rendition of Enchanted was like peak yearning. I also love what they've done with Alice this season. Before, I didn't care much for her or her family. But this season, I found her so interesting. I hope her character development doesn't stop here. See more Karla R @KarlaA 5d La mejor temporada de todas. Simplemente me encantó. Luke y Yerin tienen la mejor química de toda la serie. ✨🙌🏽 See more Kyn K @RT31544309 5d First of all, best season ever. It was so good i actually watched it more than 10 tumes. Both leads served terrific acting skills and super great chemistry. From the masquarade ball to my cottage to the tea scene to be my mistress to benedict’s yearning and crying when they broke up to the court scene to the bath tub scene to the wedding and finally cherry on top sophie’s portrait drawn by no other but her husband theee benedict bridgerton.. I honestly had a meh relationship with the show pre season 4 but now i am obsessed. Granted the aesthetic and cinematography truly declined this season (especially that shot when benophie arrived together at the bridgerton bouse) and i hate sophie’s look in that final ball. But i choose to overlook it cus well you guys are lucky yerin is gorgeous. So yeah in conclusion, love benophie and hope to see more of them although i do know bridgerton is terrible at writing past leads’ stories post their happy ending. See more Read all reviews
