"At what point," I asked myself, "would the lead female character see the truth?" I think probably it was aimed at a specific audience - your fifty shades of grey audience - but it was sumptuously shot and the music was stunning, and the actors did a brilliant job with the material, and everyone looked beautiful in their costumes. Maybe the book that it was adapted from, might have been the reason for the constant back and forth of the plot. If you take it for what it is, which is a steamy romance, then you will probably enjoy it.
