A poor knock off of the magnificent Project Runway with mentors that appear to have a personality bypass a teeny budget and a silly mechanic of the contestants choosing who goes. The guest celebrities are actually the only entertainment and the end products are lacking in quality. It is difficult to not fast forward through the show but at times I wanted to do just that. See more Lauren W @RT74526542 09/18/2024 I ended up using the fast forward multiple times an episode. This show was toxic and I have a feeling the producers encouraged it. I have really enjoyed shows like project runway or next in fashion and I loved the premise, but this was a DNF series for me. Designing purpose built clothing for clients is a fun spin on a tried and true format. However, most of the show was focused on the b**chiness of the contestants and the designs were pretty terrible (whether that was due to contestant talent or the fact that they usually had less than 24 hours of work time to design and produce a look... who knows). Also what was with the contestants voting one of the bottom two each episode felt cheap. When did this become a social competition?!
