Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) There’s an entertaining surplus of queer desire, fake blood, and ripe dialogue. It’s evocative in the best sense, with the change of location from 1910s New Orleans to 1940s Paris providing a welcome new backdrop. May 24, 2024 Full Review Matthew Gilbert Boston Globe The scripts are elegant and, at times, moving, as they capture the sometimes grandiose and sometimes sophisticated language of beings that have lived through many eras. And the acting is uniformly excellent. May 24, 2024 Full Review Alison Herman Variety Despite an extended break and a major recasting, Season 2 is as fresh as a newly opened vein. May 13, 2024 Full Review Sherin Nicole RIOTUS More of the wicked sexiness, bloody skullduggery, and vicious romance that brings out our fangs...the betrayals and reversals stack up hard and fast enough to give you whiplash. Jun 22, 2024 Full Review Kathia Woods Cup of Soul The second season of Interview with the Vampire captivates with its electric energy, building upon the pivotal revelation at the end of the first season Rated: 7/10 May 26, 2024 Full Review Erin Maxwell LA Weekly/Village Voice Interview with the Vampire resumes the vigorous storytelling of the first season while crafting a more complex narrative than even Rice imagined. jules B I really thought they could not do better after season 1, but I was very wrong!!!!!!!!!! Season 2 Masterpiece!!!!! The narrative of Louis and Armand are absolutely mesmerizing. You feel their pain, Louis love for Armand and Claudia. He's internally struggle with himself and his hate/love for Lestat!!!! The new actress that plays Claudia amazing! I would be surprised if Jacob Anderson who plays Louis, does not get a Emmy nomination for this role! it would be a sad day if his performance gets over looked! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/25/24 Full Review Tim C I am truly impressed by how well done this series is. It is treated with such care, such brilliance, such grace. Everyone involved should be thrilled. The only reason season 2 gets 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is light on Lestat (Sam Reid: so brilliant and beautiful) and it moves almost too glacially at times. Still, it's tremendous. Casting Ben Daniels as the sniveling, brooding, and malevolent Santiago was perfect-- he is brilliant in the role. I can't wait for Season 3. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Score G Amazing characters and new perspectives I didn’t expect. This show brings so many new storyline’s that make sense and make me excited to watch more. The acting is insanely good and makes me forget I am watching a fictional show. Amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Danna G I think this series is very good and well written. The actors are great, the setting is incredible. They really know how to tell the story. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/24/24 Full Review Francis S I love Jacob Anderson so much in this show. Very well done. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 06/20/24 Full Review Ken V The cast is staggeringly brilliant with star turns by Jacob Anderson and Eric Bogosian, but the real star of the show is its executive producer and show runner, Rolin Jones. He has recreated Anne Rice's Vampire universe with an authentic nod to her vision while keeping the script fresh and the pacing tight and relentless. Binge watching gold.
