ALISHA F I cannot get enough of this show. It’s unlike any vampire series I’ve watched in the past. It’s mature, it’s humble, it’s a mix of emotions. I am patiently waiting for “the vampire lestat” The complex relationship between Lestat and Louis, the entry of Claudia and the coven, the heartbreak, the betrayal and forgiveness. All in one and done brilliantly. I cried my eye balls out, because i could feel the love lestat had for Louis. And Louis being so self consumed 😢 can’t blame him for who he is. But Lestat “omg” the pain he hides behind his eyes. Damnnn I’m freaking invested in this show and the love that lestat has to Louis. It is a must watch. I thought the first episode was slow (but I also remember the book being slow at this time too so idc) but the remaining episodes more than make up for it!! Great show. Same rating of 4.5 stars. At this moment in time, there are 2 seasons of Interview with the Vampire with a 3rd one on its way in 2026 and there are 2 seasons of Mayfair Witches with a 3rd one on its way as well in 2026. Finally there will also be a Talamasca series to be released sometime in the fall of 2025. For now, I can tell you that Interview with the Vampire is by far the best "loose" adaptation of Anne Rice's books. Don't expect fidelity here as I explained before in my Season 1 review. This show is intriguing and worth watching. I'm looking forward to Season 3. The ending of the last episode sets the stage for more to come. Liked the first movie but The Vampire Lestat was always my favorite book. That is my history, and I thought that was the extent of my enjoyment of the Vampire Chronicles....boy was I wrong. Sam Reid as Lestat is one of the best television characters ever...I don't know if I have ever cried so hard watching Sam Reid in end of season 2. Bravo Sam Reid Bravo Sam Reid!!!!!!!! The show is amazing and has literally catapulted up into my favorite all time shows. This will be a show I rewatch multiple times and please keep the season coming.
