It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s latest run takes off the post-COVID training wheels and rides back to its glorious, unhinged episodic state. Most of the gang may be well into their forties, but Season 16 proves that idiocy becomes riper with age.

It's extremely difficult to get through episodes these days. They feel half-written, lack any kind of depth or originality of the earlier seasons and lean too far into the character tropes without steadying them against a strong premise or wall-to-wall jokes. Unfortunately the decline has been happening since around season 8. It's commendable that they have managed to reach 16 seasons, but much like any good US show, they flog it until it is an unrecognisable version of it's former self.

55/100 - The show slowly declines around Season 12. They change some characters and make the relationship dynamic odd. It just doesnt work anymore. Also they keep making Dennis creepier and it gets really weird, like truly bizarre.
