They feel half-written, lack any kind of depth or originality of the earlier seasons and lean too far into the character tropes without steadying them against a strong premise or wall-to-wall jokes. Unfortunately the decline has been happening since around season 8. It's commendable that they have managed to reach 16 seasons, but much like any good US show, they flog it until it is an unrecognisable version of it's former self.
