Brendan J The experiment is over. It worked for the first several season... now it's probably time to put this show to bed. It's no longer attracting the same type of cast members. Everyone is much less genuine. I think it's become more for people who want to be on TV, like all reality shows seem to devolve into. I cannot count how many countries have duplicated this show & all with magnificent cultural vibes. It’s so refreshing to know that ridiculous people live in every corner of the world and thrive on fantasy. The shows are mentioned as ‘trash tv’, but perhaps it better represents how “dumbed-down” the world has become. It’s no worse than following families of the rich and famous and housewives married to all kinds of money - (how fortunate for men that women still take glory in being a housewife). All manner of media seems to have bounced into this grand circus arena of pretend and pretense. Television represents our “social norms” and it’s just simply embarrassing.
