      Season 10 – Modern Family

      2018 Comedy List
Reviews 87% 100+ Ratings Audience Score Told from the perspective of an unseen documentary filmmaker, the series offers an honest, often-hilarious perspective of family life. Parents Phil and Claire yearn for an honest, open relationship with their three kids. But a daughter who is trying to grow up too fast, another who is too smart for her own good, and a rambunctious young son make it challenging. Claire's dad, Jay, and his Latina wife, Gloria, are raising two sons together, but people sometimes believe Jay to be Gloria's father. Jay's gay son, Mitchell, and his partner, Cameron, have adopted a little Asian girl, completing one big -- straight, gay, multicultural, traditional -- happy family. Kelis F A great show to watch and even rewatch. The comedy is great and the love of the family makes it heartwarming. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/24 Full Review Audience Member Most of the episodes in this season are fairly forgettable besides the last one which was very fun. Thankfully the cast keep it going because the writing has become fairly bland. Enjoyable at the least and still no terrible episodes or storylines which is a very good thing. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I love this series, never laughed so much. The old seasons even have a relatively modern humor for the fact that the series was released in 2009. Watched the first episode and knew I was going to watch all 250 episodes. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member excellent series, with very good plot Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Es una de las mejores series en la historia de la televisión; tiene personajes carismáticos y está llena de momentos divertidos. ¡TOTALEMENTE RECOMENDABLE! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I've been watching off & on since whenever that season was where Luke hit puberty & went from being super cute and funny to super lame and .... not funny. And boy did the show suffer a precipitous fall. It def has its moments, but it's become a show for youngsters (8-14-year-old-ish_. The jokes have become extremely juvenile & predictable, w/ very bad equally predictable puns. Don't know if it was issue w/ the show suffering a complete turnover of writers or something, and we all know shows can't maintain its quality forever, but very sad nonetheless. Chuck Barney San Jose Mercury News As a viewer it was difficult to experience any kind of grief (good or bad) for a character who appeared in only seven episodes during the show's lengthy run and expired off-camera. Oct 26, 2018 Full Review Kyle Fowle AV Club Who knows where these stories are headed, or if Modern Family will follow through with them at all. For now though, they're solid building blocks, in terms of both narrative and emotional storytelling. Rated: B Sep 28, 2018 Full Review Jessica Rawden CinemaBlend In Season 10, I don't suppose the series needs to break the mold completely, but wouldn't it have been wonderful if this episode had been a real surprise for the viewer? Oct 25, 2018 Full Review Kim Russell TV Fanatic Whatever threw off Modern Family in the past seems to have passed. It may be too soon to tell, but this episode shows the storylines may be back on track. Rated: 3.5/5 Sep 27, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
