The enormity of the climate emergency and the scale of the crime we’ve committed is left for other programmes to measure: here instead is a dappled ray of hope, and a reminder that we’re all in this together. Go to Full Review

This documentary is exceptional in its field, offering more than just breathtaking visuals of nature; it educates while it entertains. Go to Full Review

It’s another high-budget nature documentary that prioritizes audience enjoyment over edification. For many, this is more than enough—but for viewers like me who want to learn something from our documentaries, it’s a bit of a missed opportunity. Go to Full Review

Our Living World take[s] a novel approach to the nature docuseries, showing different ways living beings on this planet are connected. Sometimes those connections are a bit strained, but the footage that is being used outweighs a lot of those flaws. Go to Full Review

It’s hard to fault any nature series that seems intent upon education and conservation, which seems to be this series highlighting the interconnectedness of all living things. Go to Full Review

Blanchett’s calm narration doesn’t quite fit the wow factor this show needs, making it a rather generic program despite how interesting it is. Go to Full Review

Michael W @mawilps 05/19/2024 This nature docuseries was really good. Cate Blanchett and the entire crew did a fantastic job on making this docuseries. They did a great job of capturing these amazing animals on film and Cate Blanchett did a fantastic job as the narrator. If you haven't seen this docuseries yet, check it out sometime. It's a must see. See more Peter K @Vacadoug 05/15/2024 Beautifully filmed and narrated, felt it was very more soothing than scientific. See more Quién 04/22/2024 I love nature tv shows, but this feels unnatural and pretentious. See more Michaela B 04/20/2024 Best documentary I've seen in a long time. Amazing scriptwriting, incredible narration by Cate Blanchett (in addition it has a bit of a nostalgic LOTR vibe), amazing structure, and smooth, interesting transitions between topics/species/environments. Most of all, high-quality videowork and editing. Only downside... I wish there were more episodes; I didn't want it to end. 5 stars and highly recommendable. See more Read all reviews
