Rafael Motamayor TheWrap Thanks to an interesting location, menacing new villains, a big sense of humor and a renewed focus on Jack Reacher himself, this is the show at its very best. Mar 4, 2025 Full Review Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express ...the workman-like handling of the story makes everything so by-the-numbers that I nearly zoned out in the first couple of episodes... Rated: 2.5/5 Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Melanie McFarland Salon.com Fight sequences are fewer this time around, which makes the narrative progression feel sluggish at times, compared to previous rampages. Compensating for all that is the regular reminder that a battle royale is brewing. Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Jackie K. Cooper jackiekcooper.com Not as good as 1 but better than 2. Rated: 7/10 Mar 16, 2025 Full Review Diana Keng Geek Girl Authority There’s a tonal shift in this season’s raison d’etre...the endgame here is and always is killing a man. And to achieve it, a lot of other people end up dead...buckle up for some Reacher-style justice, complete with vigilante beat-downs and dead-pan quips. Mar 13, 2025 Full Review Chris Joyce Movies and Munchies (YouTube) While some plot points are obvious and still drawn out, this is counteracted by dry humor and an engaging story of vengeance. Kenton C You’re losing us guys. Script? TERRIBLE. So cheesy it’s painful to watch sometimes. We’ve paused the show several times and talked about abandoning the series. Lack of attention to detail is so obvious, show runners are just riding a gravy train and no longer care about fine tuning scenes/interactions. The writers room definitely says “Well the whole show is ridiculous so who cares?” when coming up with some of these scenes or dialogue. These cops from Boston or where ever have no chemistry to each other or Reacher. The kissing scene? So lazy… Love the kid though! Great acting, good character portrayal and the dad isn’t too shabby either, both good actors. The bad guys acting is better than the good guys, save for Reacher. Might not watch season 4 at this rate. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review Andy H This season improves upon last season, although not as good as the first season. Although Reacher often teams up, his real modus operandi is working alone. In this season, he do team up with some feds, while still doing his thing. It is entertaining and fun, but there are still a few important aspect of the books missing. First, as mentioned, Reacher works alone mostly, as is alone most of the time when not beating up/killing corrupt bad guys. The other thing missing is: "Reacher said nothing". That is the single most common line in the books (which albeit could be harder in the show). Third, Reacher is really really exceptionally smart. In the books he makes deductions a la Sherlock Holmes, working out motives and insights. That is rarely seen here. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review Lugerer E It's getting better as episodes roll out. Improvement on season 2, still not season 1 level, and with that it's worth watching, with potential beyond that. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review Iokepa H Such a good series, a good plot with good acting, it keeps you wanting more and more! Lots of action and suspense, its nothing complex but not all series should need to be to be good. Reecher is very simple, clean cut and a minimalist with a good moral compass that doesn't tolerate b.s and watching him in action is awesome, its probly the best aspect of the series and im very confident you will love it! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review Jeff T Don’t really get all the great ratings, the acting and script is amateur hour. Every character outside of Reacher is a moron. I guess if you just want to see predictable outcomes and some action scenes, this fits the bill i guess. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/17/25 Full Review youssef g Similar to previous seasons, but even more so, the acting feels very unnatural. Most of the Dafy team crew appear to have limited acting abilities, resulting in performances that come across as stiff and unconvincing. The dialogue often sounds forced and lacks depth, with lines that feel like they belong in an anime or a low-budget 90s movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/16/25 Full Review Read all reviews
