After having been missing for nearly 20 years, Rick Sanchez suddenly arrives at daughter Beth's doorstep to move in with her and her family. Although Beth welcomes Rick into her home, her husband, Jerry, isn't as happy about the family reunion. Jerry is concerned about Rick, a sociopathic scientist, using the garage as his personal laboratory. In the lab, Rick works on a number of sci-fi gadgets, some of which could be considered dangerous. But that's not all Rick does that concerns Jerry. He also goes on adventures across the universe that often involve his grandchildren, Morty and Summer.

The characters constantly gaze inwards, outwards, and right at us via the fourth wall, by addressing their own elements and story arcs. Does it get exhausting at times? Yes, to some extent. Some of the writer's premises end up getting the best of them too

Rick and Morty is, by far, the most narratively risky animated thing I've ever seen in my entire life. Season 4 is not better than its predecessors, but stands upright beside them. Pure pop-culture smart ass comedy. [Full review in Spanish]

Rick and Morty season 4 is the second best season of the whole show. It features the greatest episode in the history of television (The Vat of Acid Episode) and continues to show Rick and Morty has no signs of slowing down.

Rick and Morty Season 4 may not be the most consistent in overall quality, but it does boast several of the series' best episodes.

Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat - 8.5/10, The Old Man and the Seat - 7/10, One Crew over the Crewcoo's Morty - 8/10, Claw and Hoarder: Special Ricktim's Morty - 4.5/10, Rattlestar Ricklactica - 8/10, Never Ricking Morty - 8.5/10, Promortyus - 7/10, The Vat of Acid Episode - 10/10, Childrick of Mort - 5/10, Star Mort Rickturn of the Jerri - 9.5/10. A fairly solid season with only a couple of minor misses. Even the worst episode included at least one or two belly laughs, and the hits were some of my personal favorites. Not my favorite season, though still a blast from (almost) beginning to end.
