The real Paddy Mayne was an incredible soldier who should have won a VC, this series makes him out to be a horrible drunk, who would have been court martialled for hus behaviour. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/25 Full Review Rod's R WTF have they done? Paddy Maine is depicted as a shouty obnoxious moron, he is almost unwatchable. The ridiculous also gets an outing when the French female lead visits Stirling in a POW cell disguised as a Nun, whilst the thoughtful guards leave them alone to catch up whilst getting it on naked 🤣 Those Germans are not so bad after all 🤣 If the alternative BBC offerings were not equally as bad if not worse, I wouldn't bother with it. Details Episode 3 Aired Jan 1, 2025 While the men of the SAS/SRS lead battle into Bagnara, in Berlin the issuing of a Commando Order from Hitler seeks to push the boundaries of war further and puts one of our soldiers in danger. Details Episode 4 Aired Jan 1, 2025 As Paddy adopts a different approach towards authority, the traumatic toll that the war is having on the men becomes more visible; a captured soldier from the Regiment realizes that the Commando Order issued by Hitler may have sealed his fate.
