Connor Swindells
English actor Connor Swindells was born on September 19, 1996 in Lewes, East Sussex. A former boxer and model, Swindells took up acting in 2015 on a dare from friends to audition in a local play. He quickly hired an agent, and landed his screen and television debut with a part in an episode of "Harlot" (Hulu, 2017- ) in 2017, followed by an episodic appearance on "Jamestown" (Sky 1, 2017- ). Swindells then made his film debut in the Gerard Butler -starring thriller "The Vanishing" (2018) and starred in the British rap battle movie "VS." (2018). But his breakout role came the following year when he joined the main cast of comedy-drama series "Sex Education" (Netflix, 2019) as Adam Groff. Acting alongside Asa Butterfield, Gillian Anderson, and a cast of other newcomers, Swindells gained substantial media and critical attention as part of the lauded show. More recent credits include his role as David Stirling in the series "SAS: Rogue Heroes" (BBC One, MGM+; 2022, 2025) and as Aaron Dinkins in the award-winning film, "Barbie" (2023).
