Brocklehurst effortlessly establishes several plots from the beginning, the production effortlessly directed by Rashed, who lets the storylines unfold with no extraneous fussiness. Go to Full Review

There are many good performances, but I was especially fond of Jones, whose no-nonsense shamus could support a show of her own, and Gledhill, as the only character allowed to display any sort of cheeriness. Go to Full Review

The show shortchanges its audience on the one quality essential to every great mystery. Logic. Go to Full Review

Run Away gives me little to no good reason to care about these people and as such, I don't care about the mystery they've found themselves wrapped up in. Go to Full Review

Harlan Coben adaptations are about as reliable as it gets (outside of the BBC), and this is no exception. Run Away even attempts to shake up the formula by putting a handful of storylines in motion before slowly revealing how they all intertwine. Go to Full Review

James Nesbitt and Minnie Driver as desperate parents of a vulnerable missing teenager form just one curly strand of spaghetti in this Harlan Coben adaptation, which also features a pair of good-looking killers and a murderous cult Go to Full Review

Viviane M. @Viv2025 1d Dumb dumb dumb! Every episode got worse, don’t waste your time. Incredibly disappointing. See more Arush R. @roosh 2d If you value your time and brain, please skip this. The story made no sense, the build up and suspense lead to something which made no sense. There was no structure or flow, the actors were decent, maybe the only decent thing about this show. If you really do want to watch it, your assumption should be that every character has a below average IQ. It's the dumbest show l've ever watched, See more Gerry R @Gerringo 6d Watched two episodes but couldn’t watch anymore. So many ridiculous characters, a policeman who thinks he’s a Senior Counsel and attempts to interrogate his "suspect" in the Intensive Care Unit of the hospital. Another character is introduced to us in a wheelchair but later is walking unaided. Many other ridiculous scenarios makes this too hard to believe. Gave up on it. See more Johnny B. @thatboyjb 6d Usually a big fan of Harlan Coben mini series’ but this one was on the lower scale for me. The payoff at the end doesn’t make up for the dragged out storyline. See more andyth55 @AndyTh55 Feb 24 Potentially this had all the makings of a great drama. James Nesbit playing the same character as in The Missing and a story holding the attention throughout the first 3 or 4 episodes, but as it developed it was as if they decided to make the plot more and more ludicrous and in the end it left me more than a little abject. See more Lyndon G @Gray9596 Feb 24 I've watched the previous Harlan Coban mini series and they've been brilliant. This does not disappoint. Firstly the storytelling is excellent. This has a superb cast of actors who know how to act and not a slice of ham anywhere. The story keeps you in its vice like grip from start to finish with so many twists, turns and OMG moments. It's well written. Can't really fault it at all. You won't be disappointed. See more Read all reviews
