Mensa-fied best friends and roommates Leonard and Sheldon, physicists who work at the California Institute of Technology, may be able to tell everybody more than they want to know about quantum physics, but getting through most basic social situations, especially ones involving women, totally baffles them. How lucky, then, that babe-alicious waitress/aspiring actress Penny moves in next door. Frequently seen hanging out with Leonard and Sheldon are friends and fellow Caltech scientists Wolowitz and Koothrappali. Will worlds collide? Does Einstein theorize in the woods?

John Jurgensen Wall Street Journal Sheldon is the main engine for the show's geek dynamic. Sep 27, 2013 Full Review Ken Tucker Entertainment Weekly Prickly Sheldon has become a character to love, and Parsons is doing something rare on network TV: making intellectualism admirable, even heroic. Rated: B+ Sep 27, 2013 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety Frankly, any show that weaves in multiple jokes about Comic-Con and employs its own science consultant can't be all bad. Sep 12, 2013 Full Review Ross Ruediger Bullz-Eye.com It may sound like hyperbole, but surely Sheldon Cooper is one of, if not the most side-splittingly riotous character that network TV has seen in many a year. Rated: 5/5 Apr 3, 2020 Full Review Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Big Bang has evolved beyond its simple premise. Sep 27, 2013 Full Review Jessica Paff Zap2it.com If they can keep the funny coming, I will keep watching. Sep 27, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews
