In the first chapters you may get a little dissapointed as nothing with substance seems happening. Gradually, the plot takes off. Sublime Tom Holland and Amanda Seyfried. The rest of characters: the mother, the stepfather, the girlfriend, the friends, the barrister, the police… all of them put their best knowledge to something that has to be watched as a whole. Whoever who hasn’t watched each and every chapter couldn’t make anything of it until they watch it in the whole. Only then, with everything on the table, is possible the understanding of the ultra complex history. I recommend it to people able to wait patiently to the end, enjoying the supreme art of everybody working in the film (before or behind the camera) See more A K @MrsDoyle Jan 4 The film paints an accurate depiction of DID (Disassociative Disorder) and I feel that it has received unfair reviews, generally, due to a lack of understanding about this disorder that pervades, still. A shame because, if watchers had any real understanding at all, they would realise its magic and depth. Tom Holland is superb.
