It has everything, the parts that seem a little extra, are extra on purpose adding humor to a well written, well acted, poetic series this show has something for everyone. The first time I watched it,I hadn’t seen any of Mike Flanagans movies/shows today I am a fan! I love that he uses the same actors in all of his projects! There is something beautiful about a chosen family doing what they love together and equally beautiful is how Flanagan has transformed a genre that I thought hated and creates something deeply meaningful every time! Cherry on top, Flanagan is in recovery and it shows in his work. Anyone that has the guts to look inwardly and choose to continually better themselves have a depth that gen. Pop lacks! Congrats we got a strong woMAN See more Ricardo d Nov 19 Não é uma série espetacular, especialmente se considerarmos que os 6 filhos do protagonista são descartáveis e portanto não geram catarse, mesmo que os atores tentem, o texto não ajuda. Mas vale a pena acompanhar especialmente pela personagem Verna (que para mim é a real protagonista) e pelo casal de irmãos (principalmente a versão jovem que tem muito mais desenvoltura na tela) A fotografia e iluminação são agradáveis e interessantes principalmente se você pausar alguns momentos. A história é boa, mas em dado momento fica cansativo pela repetição (tanto que o próprio protagonista chega a dizer que novamente ele iria ver seu filho morto dando um susto e tal). Talvez se fossem 3 filhos ajudaria, ou, se novamente a construção das personagens tivessem sido melhor trabalhados com mais nuances não sofreria um cansaço. Juno e Lenora são as únicas que em mim causaram uma catarse, a primeira mesmo sendo coadjuvante conseguiu transmitir sua persona em tela, a segunda até o próprio roteiro a dignifica como uma vítima da situação. Talvez se voltar a assistir, seria pelas múltiplas Vernas. O final deixou bem amarrado, mas a morte dos protagonistas achei frustrante. E jamais imaginaria que o nome da série seria um spoiller.
