Gart M @ImTheGart 2d The Last of Us does a great job making a series from a video game. The casting is okay, but the overall plot is extremely well done and I wouldn't want it any other way. I like the LGBTQ+ representation in this show too. Their take on the zombie apocalypse is also really neat! Additionally, the set design, zombies, and music are all outstanding. I started playing the games after I got introduced to the show and I really am enjoying The Last of Us in general. Looking forward to season 3! But Maybe its getting bad reviews because it’s boring and the two main characters don’t come across as believable actual strong tough women but as two wee girls pretending to be tough. Dec 6 A complete bastardization of the original Last Of Us Part 2 videogame. I honestly feel sorry for anyone who has watched this but never played and experienced the game. I'm not sure how Druckmann or anyone at Naughty Dog let this get made. They completely change characters and there motivations for the worst and retell the story in a manner that does the original a total disservice. The pacing of the game and how the story meticulously unfolds is what makes it a masterpiece by the end and its like the writers of the show completely misunderstood this. I'm excited to see her fight with Abby next season. Felt bad for Dina. She was a good soldier until she took an arrow to the knee. See more Some Guy F Dec 4 Rush through the first game, which was actually good, in the first season, then really stretch out the worst parts of the second game. I was hoping the TV show might try to stray a bit from the worst parts of the game, but the only good change they made was Abby not having all the remaining steroids in the apocalypse, or that much screen time in general, which will probably change next season which will probably also suck and I will also probably watch.
