George is under the impression that he is beginning to lose touch with reality when he finds himself living the same day over and over again. A chance encounter with a man called Archie reveals that George is very much in touch with reality, but at the same time, reality can be stranger than fiction. With George's newfound understanding of his power and perception of space-time, he is forced to choose between loyalty to an organization trying to save the world and the ability to rewrite the past for a friend.

Judy Berman TIME Magazine It’s all as fun to watch as it is compelling to consider. Jul 4, 2023 Full Review Cristina Escobar RogerEbert.com [The Lazarus Project] has it all—a thoughtful exploration of moral questions, time traveling (of sorts), and plenty of suspense. Jun 2, 2023 Full Review Brian Tallerico The Playlist “The Lazarus Project” asks more questions than most TV series these days, and that’s proof enough of its credibility. Rated: B May 27, 2023 Full Review Melody McCune Geek Girl Authority There’s a lot of fun to be had with a premise like this and with the Groundhog Day-inspired time loops... Aug 23, 2023 Full Review Joly Herman Common Sense Media Lush, tense, and complex, The Lazarus Project's quick pace will engage fans of action movies, while offering enough moral depth for those who long for some complexity. Jun 14, 2023 Full Review Joel Keller Decider ... More of an action series than a pedantic sci-fi show. Jun 5, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Watched season 1 and 2. The Lazarus Project was ambitious but not near the level of Dark, or Dark Matter, etc. The Lazarus Project does not explore the repercussions of time jumping so many different times. They just keep doing it until they save the world. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Dorian D Every episode gets better en better. We´d all do what the protagonist does. Plot is clever with huge potential. Great show. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/05/24 Full Review Eric B The good: really well made, great acting/cast, impressive visually, interesting premise The bad: as the season rolls along it becomes clear it's another trolley problem, yet another show/film/story whose main preoccupation is whether our hero opts to saved a loved one at the expense of the rest of the world or vice versa, and of course they'll ALWAYS opt for loved one, so it inevitably turns out to be a simultaneously boring and depressing dilemma to grapple with. I'll keep watching because of the aforementioned positives and beause it's a decent hang, but seriously hoping the central conflict changes by the time we get to the second seaosn. Also could do with less flashbacks. Why do all of these shows have to consist of so many flashbacks. I'm all for non linear storytelling but it often feels like with these shows it just becomes lazy "retcon" storytelling and messes up the forward momentum of the story. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/24 Full Review Justin K Finally a series from the villians pov Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/05/24 Full Review Jeff S It's smart, engaging and has a good budget , good effects, and good actors. The story line is good, sometimes a bit complex if you don't pay attention( this is a good thing), not too many story line holes-has consistency, not predictable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/17/23 Full Review Danilo S I love this show. The main actor is soo good, he's funny and clever but like an ordinary person becoming involved in crazy actions, I can't wait to watch more!
