Orin D Jun 15 45 years ago, in detective fiction course, I read Wilkie Colins' mystery novel. This adaption of that work is a well-paced and in every instance well acted. I found it extremely engaging from the first episode until the terrific ending. I definitely recommend giving it a try. The northern Irish setting where it was filed is gorgeous and filled w/ amazing period architecture. The villains are so convincing that I found them despicable & hoped they'd come to a bad end. The female leads are very attractive & I prayed for their deliverance. Watch it & be patient & you will get hooked. Orin P.
