Amber Dowling Globe and Mail Alternating between kid and adult perspectives creates a full family viewing experience, with plenty of subtle changes in the background and side characters to look out for as the central figures rotate. Mar 1, 2025 Full Review Jack Seale Guardian Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about... That idea powers Win or Lose, the studio’s latest TV series -- and in the moments where it commits to its ethos fully, it delivers a powerful appeal for empathy with a knowing smile. Rated: 3/5 Feb 21, 2025 Full Review Dan Einav Financial Times Win or Lose proves an apt title for what may be the studio’s most creative, and most controversial, release in years Rated: 4/5 Feb 20, 2025 Full Review Brian Farvour The Playlist Though another season seems unlikely to turn up in Disney’s bullpen, there’s enough, even if just barely, to take us into that realm of curiosity as we wonder how the future might look for those inhabiting the world of “Win or Lose,"... Rated: B Apr 11, 2025 Full Review Wesley Hunt Loud and Clear Reviews Win or Lose is another winner in the Pixar catalog. Rated: 4/5 Mar 13, 2025 Full Review Petrana Radulovic Polygon What makes Pixar’s Win or Lose so memorable isn’t just the splashy, fantastical moments; it’s that because the fantastical elements are in the characters’ heads, the story itself is incredibly grounded, more so than the typical Pixar movie. Michael A When I say "Win or Lose", I mean "WIN OR WIN". Episode 1, it's alright, if Laurie wasn't like these zero IQ moments. Episode 2, Blue, I feel blue on this episode, the point of Frank is that he finds love but doesn't because his ex-wife was married to someone else... LIKE M-. Episode 3, the longest 20 minute episode. Rochelle is like the characters from Diary Of A Wimpy Kid (ALERT) SPOILER ALERT. And it is like whatever happens to me, I die. Episode 4, this is like my third best episode, following episode 2, being a single-mom is kinda hard on her life since she has two children. Episode 5, maybe the worst episode of the series. Like Pixar, you could have picked Taylor, Tom, Hanna, Laurie's mom, OR EVEN THE BLEACHER CEATURES. Episode 6, the best episode of all time, it's love, it's character, Yuwen X Taylor... Me X Layl-. Episode 7, the second worst, it couldn't have been longer since it's the longest time-line (not 22 minutes) the DAYS, it couldn't have been like 28 minutes, and I would recommend it. Episode 8, it's just all combined. here's the best to worst 1. episode 6 (the best) 2. episode 2 (recommend it) 3. episode 4 (same as episode 2) 4. episode 3 (worth it) 5. episode 8 (it's not bad, but not good) 6. episode 1 (either) 7. episode 7 (waste of time) 8. episode 5 (SPAWN FROM HECK) so the best is episode 6, and the worst is episode 5. that's it Overall: I give the show a 4.5 star rating. It is good, the message of the story is to Never Give Up. Peace Gamerl0rexd Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 04/19/25 Full Review Anita K I enjoyed this series more than I can say. My 2 year old is into it and so am I :) the characters are great, love the in depth look and story line, it’s very relatable. The music is really great too. I listen to the soundtrack on repeat. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/15/25 Full Review Bryan T Es una serie que honestamente me gusto. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/13/25 Full Review J L Amazing show that is unlike any other I have seen. A fun watch with your kids. It showcases various characters each with a different point of view. Issues like anxiety , peer pressure , money troubles and being a single parent , are highlighted from the point of view of the child characters and adult characters. There is a lesson in every episode and sometimes those lessons are tough ones. It captures the characters internal feelings with exaggerated 2 dimensional cartoons. Definitely recommend. If this says anything , I have never felt the need to leave a review for a show , ever. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/25 Full Review Polo P fun and deep. for all ages. for all times Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/11/25 Full Review L8ton R I mean… it was alright I guess, but severally disappointing. I never bothered to watch the rest after I had watched the first 2 episodes when they dropped mainly because I had already seen how the show ended in the very first episode. It was only until now that I gave it another chance and I was still disappointed. Hopefully, if Pixar does more Disney+ shows, hopefully they can be better than this one. Also, who’s idea was it to include a Fortnite dance in episode 6? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
