Like many I am not a fan of Disney taking over Marvel, and additionally I have now begun to dread the slew of reboots from my childhood for nostalgia's mighty dollar. But this feels so similar to the 90s Original Version - Only BETTER. Yep, I said better. Why? Everything is amped up. Drama, Creativity, Budget, Character Development... Here's a perfect example of the latter: The conversation between Gladiator and Xavier in Episode 6. Gladiator has always been nothing more than a side character, someone who appears, uses powers, and vanishes. But this conversation added real character depth. It felt genuine. This series is just amazing. I hope after Season 2 it continues, with the showrunner change that's occurred.
