Tom McGuire
Tom McGuire was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, McGuire landed roles in various films, including "The Girl in the Taxi" (1921), "Captain Blood" (1924) and "My Own Pal" (1926). He also appeared in "The Better 'Ole" (1926) and "Babe Comes Home" (1927). He continued to act in productions like "A Thief in the Dark" (1928), "Lights of New York" (1928) and "Steamboat Bill, Jr" (1928) with Buster Keaton. He also appeared in "Politics" (1931). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Breach of Promise" (1932), "Hearts of Humanity" (1932) and the Mary Boland comedy "Mama Loves Papa" (1933). He also appeared in the Mae West dramatic adaptation "She Done Him Wrong" (1933). McGuire last acted in the mystery "Charlie Chan at the Opera" (1936) with Warner Oland. McGuire passed away in May 1954 at the age of 81.
