Alastair Galbraith
Scottish native Alastair Galbraith began his acting career in 1989 with an appearance in the British television film "Wild Flowers." Though he had a part in "Conquest of the South Pole" that same year, he did not score another notable role until 1994's "Maid Marian and Her Merry Men," a comedic reinterpretation of the Robin Hood legend on BBC One. For the rest of the 1990s, Galbraith appeared in films including the juvenile-delinquent drama "Small Faces" and the World War I story "Behind the Lines." Most of his work was for British television, however, with parts in shows like the crime series "Silent Witness" as well as a recurring role as Mr. Urquart on the children's fantasy series "Aquila." The 2000s were even more productive for Galbraith; he focused his energies primarily on television work. He appeared in small roles across a myriad of British television series, including the hit spy drama "MI-5" and the long-running soap opera "Coronation Street."
