Alberto Morin

Alberto Morin was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Morin landed roles in various films, including "I Met Him in Paris" (1937), the action movie "Wings of the Navy" (1939) with George Brent and the Vivien Leigh hit dramatic adaptation "Gone With the Wind" (1939). He also appeared in "Invisible Agent" (1942), "Casablanca" (1942) and the Dennis Morgan adaptation "The Desert Song" (1943). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties, appearing in the drama "The Glory Brigade" (1953) with Victor Mature, "King of the Khyber Rifles" (1953) with Tyrone Power and "Three Coins in the Fountain" (1954) with Clifton Webb. He also appeared in the Stewart Granger dramatic adventure "Green Fire" (1955). Nearing the end of his career, he continued to act in "It's Only Money" (1962) with Jerry Lewis, the Kirk Douglas comedy "For Love or Money" (1963) and the dramatic comedy "Fun in Acapulco" (1963) with Elvis Presley. He also appeared in the James Darren romance "For Those Who Think Young" (1964) and "Backtrack" (1969). Morin more recently acted in the drama "The Milagro Beanfield War" (1988) with Ruben Blades. Morin passed away in April 1989 at the age of 87.
