Andreas Apergis

Andreas Apergis was a French-Canadian actor and voice-over artist who appeared in several dozen movies and TV shows beginning in the late 1980s. Apergis had his first brush with acting stardom in 1988 when he appeared as Special Agent Nick Donovan in the Canadian made-for-TV-movie "Trial by Vengeance" (1988). Apergis's role in the film, although small, whetted his appetite for acting, and over the next few years he nabbed supporting roles in various low-budget Canadian films, including "The Pianist" (1991), "Hollow Point" (1996), and "In the Presence of Mine Enemies" (1997). Then in the mid-2000s, Apergis had the opportunity to start doing voice-over work for action video games. Excited at the possibility to expand his craft into the burgeoning world of video games, Apergis jumped at the chance. He would soon lend his voice to such popular games as "Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory" (2005), "Rainbow Six: Vegas" (2006), and "Assassin's Creed II" (2009), the latter of which went on to become the most critically successful game in the "Assassin's Creed" franchise. Apergis continued doing voice-over work well into the 2010s, while also working steadily as a film and TV actor. In 2011 he nabbed a recurring part on the American TV series "Being Human" (Syfy, 2011-2014), and followed that up with a supporting turn in the big-budget Hollywood blockbuster "X-Men: Days of Future Past" in 2014. 2014 was also the year Apergis started doing voice over work for the Canadian cop series, "19-2" (Télévision de Radio-Canada, 2011- ), which premiered in the fall of 2014 on the U.S. network Syfy to great critical acclaim.
