The movie does not have enough laughs to be a comedy, not enough intrigue to be a thriller, and does not have the acting chops for a drama. In this cinematic limbo all that is left is boredom. I mean that soul dragging boredom that comes when the 20th "joke" falls flat and you look at you watch sure that this cannot do on much longer and you realize you are only in the first minutes of a 2 hour plus film.

Very well made movie. I struggled to stay focused with the significant amount of french in the flick. But the pace, characters, story and humour were all good.

A rarity to see such chemistry carried over in a sequel with a duo the way Feore and Huard do. The movie builds on what was established in Bon Cop Bad Cop and added to it. The film works as great satire on America and American while keeping its focus on it's Canadian humor building off stereotypes. The only downfall is that as a Canadian film it won't been seen by a sizable audience that it richly deserves

American bashing movie - the Americans are not only moronic, but they are the evil, bad guys in the movie.. I liked it up until about 2/3rds way thru and that's when it starts to bash americans the rest of the way...It's also gets a little nonsensical at this point. the 2 cops go to "save the Dave" by themselves because there's "No time" to call for help. (They Couldn't call the cops and tell them to meet them at the location?) It was a good movie up until then, but after that it was just a lame joke....OBVIOUSLY, the movie was made by a left-wing liberal who hates americans...
