Arthur Taxier
Arthur Taxier is a well-reputed character actor. He got his start in theater, and after moving to the United States, landed his first role in television in 1980 in the made-for-TV movie "The Last Song," with "The New Adventures of Wonder Woman" star, Lynda Carter. The following year, he made his film debut in the cult classic biopic "Mommie Dearest." He steadily built a solid reputation, and by the end of the '80s he'd appeared in over 50 television shows and films, including the cop drama "Midnight Caller," the primetime soap opera "Falcon Crest," and the crime drama "Hill Street Blues." His reputation carried through the '90s, and he continued to score roles in popular shows like. After appearing in several more productions of note including the cult favorite "Donnie Darko," the Will Ferrell comedy "Old School," and the Brad Pitt - Julia Roberts comedy "The Mexican," Taxier retired in 2003. His last television appearance was a guest stint on the drama "The Lyon's Den."
